UH-Hilo Men’s Tennis team came in at No. 25 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Collegiate Team Rankings sponsored by Tennis-Point released Wednesday morning.
The Vulcans moved down three spots from their previous ranking after dropping two matches to No. 10 HPU.
UH-Hilo will return to competition next week in Colorado with two matches each against Metro State Denver (March 8-9) and Colorado Mesa (March 10).
Barry moved in as the new No. 1 team in the country.
The next rankings will be released March 6.
ITA is the governing body of college tennis, overseeing men’s and women’s varsity tennis at all levels. The ITA administers the ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings (singles/doubles/team) that are designed to track the top men and women teams and singles and doubles players in NCAA Divisions I, II, III, NAIA, NJCAA, and CCCAA.
